The Four Types of Loop Fields

Slinky - In a slinky loop feild the geo pipe is typically 8 feet below grade with a installation pit size of about 100' X 20-40'. In geothermal install on a existing structure we can bore underground below driveways, pools, septic systems, landscaping and ect. from the loop feild location right to a small hole located inside your home. This eliminates any evidence of excavation with finished landscaping.

Vertical - A vertical loop system utilizes wells drilled into the earth. These systems work good on smaller lots where there is not enough space for other types of loop feilds.

Horizontally Bored - A horizontally bored loop feild has the least level of intrusion to your site. With this type of loop feild we bore beneath grade under or around virtually anything with almost limitless possabilites.

Open - A open loop system draws water from a well and discharges it to a wetland. The water simply runs through a thermal exchanger in the unit and is not polluted in any way. We take heat from the water in heating mode and give heat to the water in cooling mode.
